Having qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree from UCD in Chemistry and Biochemsitry, Emma went on to study nutrition and diet as a postgraduate qualification. She received the highest marks in the country in her exams and thesis, which marked the start of her successful career. When Emma started her nutrition career in 1998, the first thing on her mind was to help teenagers with their health and approach to diet. She started giving talks in schools across the country, and has inspired many youngsters to take control of their health. Since then, Emma has been consultant nutritionist for many corporate clients including SuperValu and Cocoon Childcare where she oversees the nutrition for 15 centers with at least 60 children in each. Emma gives presentations and nutrition clinics at LIFE pharmacies around the country and worked on the AVIVA Get Fit Action Plan 2012. She also works with the makers of the wholefood nutritional supplement, Juice PLUS+ and heads up their Healthy Steps campaign in Europe.
